The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) at Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education was established in 2022 with the objective of expanding access to quality higher education through flexible and technology-enabled learning modes. Functioning in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission–Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB), all programmes offered by the Centre are UGC-DEB entitled and also approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education, ensuring compliance with national quality standards. The CDOE offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes designed to cater to diverse learners, including working professionals, homemakers, and students seeking flexible learning pathways. The Centre emphasizes a learner-centric pedagogy, integrating digital platforms, interactive content, and continuous assessment methods to ensure effective knowledge delivery and skill development. Students satisfying the eligibility criteria (as mentioned below), are admitted to academic programmes, based on the marks secured in the Qualifying examination.
