The Research Incentive Distribution Ceremony at Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (KARE) was held on 18th September 2025 to celebrate and honor the outstanding research accomplishments of the university’s faculty members. The event recognized individuals who have demonstrated exemplary commitment to advancing research, innovation, and academic excellence across diverse disciplines.
During the ceremony, a total incentive amount of ₹33 lakhs was distributed among 141 faculty members in acknowledgment of their significant contributions to research and scholarship. The awardees received Certificates of Appreciation for their achievements, which included securing government-funded research projects, publishing in SCI-indexed and high-impact journals, obtaining patents, and engaging in notable interdisciplinary collaborations.
In addition to individual recognitions, mementos and certificates were presented to the top three departments and schools that excelled in research performance. These honors were based on key indicators such as publication quality and quantity, funded research projects, consultancy, patents, and overall scholarly output. This initiative not only celebrates collective achievement but also fosters a healthy spirit of competition and collaboration among academic units within the university.
This annual initiative reaffirms KARE’s strong commitment to nurturing a dynamic research culture that values quality, innovation, and global relevance.
