The Sports and Games department has an International Standard Athletic Track of 400m with 8 Lanes. Athlete track is fully equipped with accessories like 80 hurdles, Pole-vault, high jump mat and other accessories for running, jumping, throwing, etc. The other sports facilities with the department are:

Our University Basket Ball Team (Men) participated in the State level inter Engineering Invitation Tournament conducted by Sastra University, at Tanjur from 11th to 13th March 2011, Our KLU team Won the Silver Medal in the Tournament.

Our University Foot Ball Team (Men) participated in the State level inter Engineering Invitation Tournament conducted by Sastra University, at Tanjur from 11th to 13th March 2011, Our KLU team Won the Silver Medal in the Tournament.

Our University Chess Team (Men) participated in the State level inter Engineering Invitation Tournament conducted by Sastra University, at Tanjur from 11th to 13th March 2011, Our KLU team Won the Bronze Medal in the Tournament.

 

 

 

 

 

Our University Volley Ball Team (Women) participated in the State level inter Engineering Invitation Tournament conducted by Sastra University, at Tanjur from 11th to 13th March 2011, Our KLU Women team Won the IVth place in the Tournament.

Our University Cricket Team (Men) participated in the State level inter Engineering Invitation Tournament conducted by Sastra University, at Tanjur from 11th to 13th March 2011.

Our University Badminton Team (Men) participated in the State level inter Engineering Invitation Tournament conducted by Sastra University, at Tanjur from 11th to 13th March 2011, Our KLU Men team Won the IVth place in the Tournament. 

Mr. K.G. Agilan, IV Year - SHIP won the 1st place in the District Level Chess Championship Tournament held at Rathinam Chess Academy - Sivakasi on 27th February 2011.

Our University Volley Ball Team (Men) participated in the State level open Valley ball  Championship Tournament conducted by JJ Volley Ball Club, at Mariyur, near Sayalkudi, Ramnad on 19th Februray 2011, Our KLU team Won the Gold Medal in the Tournament.

 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our Kalasalingam University Volley Ball (Men) Team participated in the National Level Inter Collegiate Tournament organized by PSN Group of Institutions at Tirunelveli from 2nd to 4th February 2011 and won 3rd Prize Rs3000/- Cash Prize also

Tamilnadu State Master's Athletic Association organized the State Master's Athletic Meet at our KLU Sports Arena on 8th and 9th January 2011. Our Chancellar Thiru. K. Sridharan, facilitated the participants among the other dignities like Dr. V.K.Shunmuagam District Collector, Mr.W.I. Devaram, DGPC (Retired), Mr.Krishnamoorthy, Distict Judge. Thiru. T.P.M. Mohideen Khan, Ministers for Sports, Mr.Sathiya Prathap Sahu, Member Secretary Tamilnadu Sports Development Authority.

All India Sports Council of the Deaf, New Delhi Organized the 16th National Deaf Athletic Championship at Race Course Stadium, Madurai from 18th to 22nd January 2011 our Ship students took part in the said Championship. The following students won prizes as detailed.

In Virudhunagar District Cricket Association, Virudhunagar. Organized by District Cricket League Tournament held at A.J. College Sivakasi on 9th January 2011, our Kalasalingam University Cricket team participated in this tournament and Won the Match.

Mr. V. Sivakumar, III Civil won the Ist place in the District Level Chess Championship Tournament held at Rathinam Chess Academy - Sivakasi on 31th October 2010 and he secured 5 points

Rotary Club of Sivakasi Central conducted Virudhunagar District level Inter Collegiate ROTO ATHLETE - 2010 at Sivakasi on 28th August 2010 and won the following Medals Winners.
