The Central Library is fully air-conditioned with the seating capacity of 350 and well protected with CCTV and fire extinguishers. Library has 65894 volumes in engineering, technology, science and management. The library subscribes to 637 journals and magazines at national and international level and online journals of IEEE and Science Direct. Library has an audio-video room for students to learn at their own pace. The library has 3320 project reports and 3250 back volumes are available in the reference section. The total area of the central library is 14500 sq.ft. Our central library is automated with MODERNLIB software which is used for acquisition, book transaction, OPAC and administration. All the book transactions are computerized through Bar Code system.

First Floor: Book issue, Return and Renewal Counter, Reading Hall, Stack Room, Journal Section, Digital Library, UDL Section and Librarian and Deputy Librarian room.

Second Floor: Reference Book section, Video Conference Hall, Back Volume Section, Project report section and Book Bank section.

The library is provided with library automation system with four Pentium computers in a network under client-server architecture. Multi-user software for library automation is available for issue, searching, administration, and reference facility for all the users. Library is in the process of developing databases for e.questions and e.syllabus. Library staff is engaged in colleting relevant details from the dailies and reports to prepare booklets, which enables the users to attend the forth coming competitions.
